Our Building Assessors and Building Consultants have DB-U registrations with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). We complete new home building inspections at the critical stages of a build including pre-pour, post-pour, frame, pre-plaster, waterproof/fix and final/PCI, as well as building contract reviews, building consultancy and defect inspections and expert witness reports for dispute resolution and VCAT.
Our VBA Registered Building Inspector completes 137B Owner Builder Reports for those who have completed owner builder work within 6.5 years of selling the property. It is a legal requirement that 137B Reports are completed by a prescribed building practitioner (Registered Building Inspector, Registered Architect, Building Surveyor or Registered Engineer). The Inspector has a statutory duty to provide an independent and factual assessment of the building work when completing an Owner Builder Report.
