I cannot recommend Manse Group highly enough. As a first-home builder, I was advised to engage their services at every stage of the construction process, and it proved to be one of the best investments I made. Hamish was my dedicated inspector throughout the build, and he was consistently honest, knowledgeable, and professional. At each inspection stage, he provided clear explanations of every defect identified, along with practical recommendations for how the issues could be addressed. The detailed inspection reports were timely and the expert guidance gave me clarity about key issues throughout my build. I would not hesitate to use Manse Group again for any future builds and would strongly recommend their services to anyone planning to build a home.

Manse Group did a good job in all stages for my five stage-by-stage inspections. Hamish never hesitated to answer questions and always responded as well as the Manse teams. Plus, having a private inspector made the builder and contractors more careful in doing their jobs, as there was someone watching them. We engaged Jake from Manse Group to undertake building inspections of our new build house on the coast. We are Melbourne based and needed someone who we could trust to help us with key stage inspections throughout the build and represent our interests. Highly recommend Manse Group! My experience with the Manse Group started whilst I was interstate and Rachel answered all my questions and kept me informed from the start. She even touched base with me to ensure how things were going with the start of the build so they could schedule in work. My primary inspector was Jay and his reports were exceptional and contained so much detail that I felt comfortable and reassured by what he was doing. As a result of these private inspections defects at each stage were picked up and shared with our site Manager who organised rectification. As this was my first build, I really appreciated how helpful and supportive they were, taking the time to explain things and guide me along the way.

I recently engaged Manse Group as independent building inspectors and honestly can’t thank them enough for their help and support through a pretty tricky situation. Very professional and effective. The detailed Manse inspection report assisted in ensuring all facets of the house complied with building standards and helped to ensure a quality build. We engaged Manse to conduct 5 inspections with follow up rectification inspections at 5 critical stages of the build of our home being built by Metricon. The friendly prompt communication, advice & professionalism provided by all in the company was excellent. The level of knowledge of Jay & Jake (our inspectors) and consequently the detail in each report was beyond our original expectations. As a result of these private inspections defects at each stage were picked up and shared with our site Manager who organised rectification. We would recommend anyone who is considering building a new home to engage Manse to provide independent inspections. We have definitely ended up with a better build due to this great service…. well worth the cost!

After a referral from a friend who used Manse group for a new builds twice, I contacted Manse group and had an immediate callback with all of the information I needed. Hamish completed 3 inspections for me, the Frame Inspection, Pre-plaster Inspection, and Waterproof/Fix Inspection. He was very detailed and also liaised directly with my site supervisor and followed up to make sure the builder had addressed an issue without being prompted. Manse were the single factor in me salvaging a nightmare of a build process. I only wish I'd involved them earlier in my build! New homes cost a lot of money and you think the builder has your best interests at heart, they don't. My builder told me I didn't need an inspection, I was recommended Manse by a friend and I am so thankful I used their services. Not only did they find nearly 100 defects with my build, they guided and supported me through the war I had with my builder to have the issues rectified. Jake's thorough work and ongoing support gave me the information and confidence to stand my ground against my bully of a project manager, with the end result being all issues rectified and an eventual handover of a property that was of an acceptable standard. I don't think I'll ever build a new home with a volume builder again, but if I do, Manse inspections will be the first thing I book in. Don't go it alone, don't trust your builder, get Manse in as soon as you can to keep your builder accountable and save headaches in the long run.

We used Manse 8 years ago to inspect our first build and have recently engaged with them again for our new build. They are the ultimate professionals to deal with and were literally worth every cent as they were extremely insightful at each stage of the build to ensure the whole build was as smooth as possible. The Manse group provided a great service from start to finish. Jake provided an excellent contract review and guidance on the commitments as a buyer you have to the builder. Hamish kicked off the slab inspection and Jay the rest. Their reports are well documented with photos, regulations and impacts. The builder fixed the defects and concerns raised including keeping the slab protected and alignment of framing. Rachel keeps the communication going, invoicing at the right time and handling any queries.
