I was referred to Manse Group for my SDA property and although they charge more, I was convinced they were the right choice based on their experience with SDA and how comprehensive their inspections are. And I was not disappointed. Rachel & Jake were both fantastic to deal with, friendly and acommodating, and the inspection and report was 'next level' comprehensive. There were so many issues found with my home that I would never have known about and I was able to get these rectified with the builder before handover. The way I look at it is that I've potentially saved myself $xx,xxx's, as hopefully avoided the inconvenience of having to get repairs & maintenance down the track. Definitely a good investment in my opinion, highly recommended.

I had such a great experience with Manse on my first build (although i engaged them part way through), l wanted to ensure I engaged them early to provide their services right through this subsequent build.

Manse are a great insurance policy and an ally in your corner - they are up to date and knowledgeable across current building practices and work to ensure that your investment is delivered to plans and building code specs. Although I had every confidence in my builder, it’s still good to have an independent assessor to double-check the quality of the work being undertaken. This came in super handy when Jay highlighted that the slab hadn’t been poured to take into account a walk-in shower - this saved everyone a lot of time and a considerable amount of money - this was fixed before further works were organised.

Manse have been with me at all inspection stages through this build and have ensured my builder stays compliant but also, that they were building to engineers and drafting plans.

All in all, I have a beautiful new home which I know has met with the most stringent of checks. I would highly recommend engaging Manse if you are building - they are invaluable in ensuring the quality of your investment.

Manse Group were engaged prior to contract signing, and were with us right through to handover - we would never build without them on our team!
They made the entire build experience so much easier for us, and were trusted to flag any defects or noteworthy items during the build. Jay was amazing, and worked so well with our site supervisor(s) during the entire construction period. The PDF reports after each inspection were very detailed and easy to understand - and made it very clear for the builders to take corrective measures. The reports came through same day, so the build didn't move forward without corrections and re-inspections.
Even the contract review was super helpful, and flagged things with us that we hadn't considered, or had overlooked.

Manse Group have been the most lovely and professional business I have experienced throughout my entire building journey. Jake reviewed my building contract initially which was invaluable. There was a lot of advice he gave and it was much less daunting after he'd talked me through each section of the contract. Then throughout the build so many defects were picked up. Even my SS was impressed with the thoroughness of the inspections and what they found. I will be looking to do another build in the future and will be in touch! Worth every single cent. If you're umming and ahhhing about getting them for your house, just do it THANK YOU MANSE!

I had an excellent experience with Manse Group during the PCI (final inspection) stage of my new home. Hamish, the building consultant assigned to my job, was incredibly thorough and professional. What really stood out was the way he communicated—he took the time to explain everything clearly and in simple terms, making sure I understood exactly what needed to happen during the handover.

Hamish was approachable, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. His attention to detail gave me real confidence heading into the final stages of the build. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Manse Group to anyone going through a new build—they were fantastic.

Great experience from start to end. The communication from Dane and his team was excellent and the quality of the inspection was the same. I would happily use them again.

From the time we engaged the Manse Group it was a pleasant experience from the get-go.

Rachel has been immensely responsive to all communications and Dane has been doing a thorough and quality job so far into our build.

The Manse Group have also developed a good rapport with a lot of the big and local builders, making a name for themselves (in good ways).

So glad we chose Manse group and Jake to guide us through the building process and inspect the stages of our build over the duration. He was thorough and provided detailed reports at each stage identifying non compliant items and definitely making the builder more accountable. Worth every cent to have him as our critical eyes on major aspects that we had no idea about and would have impacted on the integrity of the build down the track. Extremely happy with our decision. We were given thorough reports with clear and understandable regulations regarding the defects for the builder to rectify.

If it wasn’t for manse group inspections, we would have been handed over a non compliant home, which the volume builder kept trying to pass on as compliant.
Well worth the money to ensure you’re given a compliant build.

Jay and the whole Manse team where amazing during every stage of the build, from pre pour of the slab , through to the final handover. Jay nearly paid for himself with building spec failures /rectifications that the average person would not have a clue about. He was accessible any time I needed him and happy to share his abundant knowledge any time I asked. I believe, due to Jay and Manses involvement my builder produced a much better finish for the whole build, because they knew they were dealing with a professional builder and not a bamboozled first-time home builder. I cannot thank Jay and The Manse group enough and would highly recommend them to anyone who is building, whether it be first time or last. We had a very challenging build. Manse did a great job. Were very responsive and flexible working around a less than ideal situation.

We engaged Manse as a safety net for our build, and boy we are glad we did. Not only were the reports complete and comprehensive, but our inspector (Jay) did a fantastic job and explaining what things meant if we had any questions. Jay was also absolutely fantastic at rearranging things on his side when our builder wasn't organised enough for our inspections to be done as scheduled. He made sure that every report was completed before the next step in the build process began so there were no excuses for our builder to use if something wasn't fixed.

I've been meaning to write up a review for the wonderful people at Manse, and especially Rachel. Sadly they are out of the Service area we are Building in, but that still did not stop Rachel from sending through a checklist and things to look out for when selecting an Independent Build Inspector. While I am totally envious of the people that get to have Manse inspecting their Build, I am also happy that professionals with kind hearts actually exist in this industry. The fact that they got nothing from us, but took the time out to send through info for us to refer, just blew us off our feet. I truly hope to see a day where you'll extend your skills to include all of Australia!
