After a referral from a friend who used Manse group for a new builds twice, I contacted Manse group and had an immediate callback with all of the information I needed. Hamish completed 3 inspections for me, the Frame Inspection, Pre-plaster Inspection, and Waterproof/Fix Inspection. He was very detailed and also liaised directly with my site supervisor and followed up to make sure the builder had addressed an issue without being prompted. Would highly recommend Hamish & the Manse group for new build inspections.

New homes cost a lot of money and you think the builder has your best interests at heart, they don't.

My builder told me I didn't need an inspection, I was recommended Manse by a friend and I am so thankful I used their services. Not only did they find nearly 100 defects with my build, they guided and supported me through the war I had with my builder to have the issues rectified. Jake's thorough work and ongoing support gave me the information and confidence to stand my ground against my bully of a project manager, with the end result being all issues rectified and an eventual handover of a property that was of an acceptable standard.

I don't think I'll ever build a new home with a volume builder again, but if I do, Manse inspections will be the first thing I book in. Don't go it alone, don't trust your builder, get Manse in as soon as you can to keep your builder accountable and save headaches in the long run.

We used Manse 8 years ago to inspect our first build and have recently engaged with them again for our new build. They are the ultimate professionals to deal with and were literally worth every cent as they were extremely insightful at each stage of the build to ensure the whole build was as smooth as possible. They found numerous significant defects which were thankfully rectified immediately to ensure we saved $thousands from avoidable repairs in the future. Dane was a wealth of knowledge and Rachel was a pleasure to deal with!

We had never built before and honestly had no idea what to look for, so we wanted some added security and someone to check the builder’s work. We got onto Manse Group and they were absolutely awesome! Hamish was incredibly thorough, and his detailed reports gave us the confidence to stay on top of the build every step of the way.

The Manse group provided a great service from start to finish. Jake provided an excellent contract review and guidance on the commitments as a buyer you have to the builder. Hamish kicked off the slab inspection and Jay the rest. Their reports are well documented with photos, regulations and impacts. The builder fixed the defects and concerns raised including keeping the slab protected and alignment of framing. Rachel keeps the communication going, invoicing at the right time and handling any queries. We engaged Jake from the Manse Group 18 months into our build that was overdue and with our relationship having completely broken down with the builder. We were exhausted and frustrated, dealing with constant excuses, quality issues and unexpected costs that weren’t in the contract or properly documented.

Jake immediately removed the emotion from the situation and calmly and methodically worked through the facts. He helped us understand our rights under the contract and the building code, and then began liaising directly with the builder, which took an enormous amount of stress off our shoulders.

The reports Jake provided were detailed, evidence-based, and backed by building standards, making it straightforward to raise issues and get them addressed. Importantly, Jake is up to date with the latest building regulations and ensures that the builder's work is compliant with both the contract and current building codes.

Pleased to share that Manse Group were engaged by my wife and I when we first signed up to build a New Townhouse in South Geelong. The brief was to supervise & Manage the build which our Inspector Dane performed a fantastic job. Ther builders were less than professional at times but Dane kept them honest and all aspects of the build were done correctly to code and to a high standard. Ours was part of a 33 Townhouse project and pleased to claim that thanks to Manse Group we have had no post build problems whatsoever. The build was difficult and took almost four years almost double the time originally claimed by the Developers / Builders. Numerous excuses by the builders but thanks to Dane we got there in the end. This was our first and hopefully last venture into building an investment as we now hope to sell the property and retire. The reports provided by Manse Group certainly go a long way in providing surety to any potential buyers. We are very grateful for the professional assistance and guidance we received from Manse Group.
